I was looking into this as well. The guide on their website shows setting up and running it from a thumb drive, but you need two of them. One to create the install disk, and one to install it to. I want to keep Windows 7 but run this separately and it looks like it works.

I bought it this season and the 1pm games were a mess, completely unusuable. The afternoon was streaming fine for me in a picture just shy of the HD I get on cable. I'm hoping they improve it quickly and are working on upgrades because a slew of refund demands came in immediately on sunday.
