I bought it this season and the 1pm games were a mess, completely unusuable. The afternoon was streaming fine for me in a picture just shy of the HD I get on cable. I'm hoping they improve it quickly and are working on upgrades because a slew of refund demands came in immediately on sunday.

Non-local NFL games is available online but only through a PS3 direct tv app, although the morning games in week 1 were a total bust with Frank Caliendo popping in at random moments and the plays showing up in a random order. You could pick up the local games OTA through an HD antenna.

I'm no engineer but I thought speaker designers try to eliminate resonance, which is why more manufacturers (Magico, KEF, YG) are using aluminum in their $100,000 flagship products?

I think the KEF Muons were cast from solid blocks of aluminum.

Blame the weatherman? Lonnie Quinn was the best part of the storm. I have never seen a weatherman do something like 24 hours of nonstop stream of consciousness coverage and gesticulations without a single hair falling out of place. It was mesmerizing.

They may have been unreliable but IIRC he was able to beat the Stereophile staff in his Carver Challenge recreating a C-J Premier 5 in double blind testing. He designed great amps, and they show up on ebay all the time. My gripe with his magnetic field amps is that they produced an annoying hum that I couldn't get…

Used to own the SMGs which were about 4 feet tall. They were incredible speakers but unfortunatley incompatible with my apartment when I relocated to NYC. These are very interesting.
