SO is only big in Japan and in that country the X1 barely broke 50k consoles sold. And over here it will cater to a niche that mostly owns Playstation consoles.

Just because Bb did it doesn’t mean SO5 will also do it. Bb has a worldwide appeal whilst SO5 is a niche title here and bigger in Japan. Japan, mind you, ain’t buying enough ps4s and the PS3 is waning.

I know that! That's why I said in my original post that I accepted I was naive at hoping for an adult MC in a jrpg. Hence me knowing it's unlikely to happen.

Playable? Sure. Main characters of their respective games? No way.

Yakuza ain't a jrpg.
