100% agreed. Some Americans forget there’s a world outside of their country.

This is embarrassing. You could’ve admitted the mistake and corrected “black” for “African American” and that’d be it but no, you had to double down on your idiotic American-centric view of the world. What a joke.
Ugh, its not even funny just ho much better colors on those buttons look. I could care less about the PS logo (Sony stopped using that once since the PS3 days) but the face buttons should retain their color in some way!
It saddens me how few people mention the lack of colors on the iconic face buttons as a bad thing. I hate that we’re going to boring non-colored buttons!
I absolutely and positively HATE that we’re losing he iconic Playstation colors on the shapes of the face buttons that have been around since 1994. Its not just more aesthetically pleasing to have a more colorful controller and UIs but they also make reading the button prompts on screen easier to the eye and faster to…
Great to hear he called you and I realize that from your story you did most of the talking but I kept waiting to read what else he replied or how you ended that call. Did he made any promises or pledges to you? I felt like I just re-read your previous article by reading what you told him over the phone so I guess I…
What a sad, miserable life as a gamer you must lead if you only are able to enjoy games starring a male character. Imagine skipping Super Metroid, Portal, Tomb Raider, or fucking Yoshi’s Island because those games star women and one green dinosaur. What’s your rule on something like Star Fox? Fox is okay and relatable …
All this time I’ve genuinely thought Pharah, a woman from the African nation of Egypt that has darker skin, was considered a black woman. I mean she’s not African-American but I’m learning today she doesn’t count.
I wholeheartedly agree. Even Super Mario Run which is NOT free to play does this. Not the trying to sell you stuff but the incomprehensible UIs and constant barrage of colorful shit you did or should do for the inevitable grind to build X or play Y mode.
I’m amazed and puzzled as to how a kid from 1989 without the internet could know of the existence of Super Mario Bros 3 and the Super Famicom a year or two before they were a thing in America.
Mine is difficult to beat.
I totally missed the news that you were back on Kotaku, Mike! Welcome! I know I speak for many when I say we missed you!
This is awesome. More stories like this!
That last video embed is not a Telemundo broadcast but Televisa’s (Mexican tv network).
EDIT: Oops, wrong article
People who group Mexico as Central America are wrong. If you want to group the entire batch south of the US just call us Latin America! If you wanna group Mexico with Central region say Mexico and Central American countries. It’s like saying Western Europe and somehow including there Belarus. It’s wrong.
Look, it’s not bad Spanish, but calling it Dia de los Muertos instead of Dia de Muertos is like calling the “4th of July” holiday the “July 4th” holiday. You’re not commiting language murder but it’s just not how it’s called. Besides calling it Dia de Los Muertos is redundant and unnecessary loose the “los” save that…
Somehow they love to make a literal translation of Day of the Dead and thus we keep getting Dia de los Muertos instead of Día de muertos as it should be.
This is set in Mexico so it’s not even Central, it’s still North America (remember NAFTA?). Although it’s true the Mayan civilization extended into Central all this talk about Dia de Muertos means it’s definitely set in Mexico so even calling it Central America would be wrong too
Like others have said here: you chose a very flimsy and lame hill to die on.
