including Star Fox and Zelda which we know still know next to nothing about?

Did you miss the part where Iwata said they'll be revealing more in 2016? Next gen Nintendo is coming 2016-2017 at the latest!

well that's WiiU operating normally if you ask me. By "slowing down" I meant "stopping" haha.

BOMBS DROPPED!

As far as I'm concerned the last good Metroid game I played was Prime 3 in 2007. Couple that long time with my complete and utter hate for Other M's betrayal of Samus' character and the franchise that only makes my thirst for a new home console Metroid all the more excruciating.

Sure but that ain't happening until 2016 at the earliest. The PS4 needs something to pick up Japan sales now! Persona 5 can't cone out soon enough.

Oh I think the Joker will play an important role narratively in Knight. It's just that he doesn't have to be alive to do that so I hope they stick to their guns and leave the character dead.

Leave him dead for once! He had his spotlight already.

Most gamers? I'm sorry but try again.

wait so no Dpad and instead basically 3 analog sticks/pads? They just made this Steam controller a pain for navigating menus and completely useless for fighting games and 2D platformers.

The best video you'll find on the internet about Sweet Home was made by the Happy Video Game Nerd a few years ago. I first heard about this forgotten gem thanks to this guy. I highly recommend you watching them if you're the least bit interested in this piece of gaming history. It was done in two 8 minute parts.

Still no word on DQH localization outside of Japan, I take it?

Any other time a brochure that says "we're changing the face of home entertainment" would be seen with rolling eyes. But in this particular case it was absolutely goddamn true. Good Lord was it true!!

DK was 1981 but the Mario Bros arcade gave the names for Mario and his newcomer brother Luigi and that was 1983. Super Mario Bros came out in Japan September 1985 so yeah, the name Mario was very much established by the time the NES launched in the west.

there were at least two Bowser castles in SMB1 that were mazes of the go-the-wrong-way-and-it'll-loop. So there's that at least.

The word you're looking for is "novel" dude, not "book" since anything bound in a cover with pages can be called a book. It may not be a novel but it is a book. Even if it's "just" a short story with pictures and drawings in it. Just drop it already, you're embaras yourself.

The best selling games of each year are anything but innovative. Yes, every once in a while a Minecraft will come out of nowhere and blow everyone away but its a myth the average gamer is looking for innovation. FIFA 15, Assassin's Creed 18, Call of Duty 29, Madden 15, NBA 2K15, Watch Dogs, GTAV, Smash Bros 4 were

Also, moving in a 3D environment only with a Dpad should never happen. Not to mention the awkward first person mechanic of having to point the Wiimote at the screen was a fucking pain and something I dreaded to do every single time. Almost all of my control complaints would've been resolved if they had given the

Funny thing is you CANT toss the story of Other M even if you wanted to because those godawfully written and acted cutscenes are 100% unskippable.

It wasn't a "bad game" but it was a horrible Metroid game. It also assassinated Samus' character making her into a submissive battered doormat girlfriend with daddy issues who can't think for herself even if her life's on the line.
