Sexism, harassment and bro-culture segregate and alienate more a tournament community than any women only tourney ever could. They do these for the same reason there are women only train cars in some countries: they're needed so women feel safe.

Is the Everquest IP staying with Sony or did SOE took it with them?

Of course! He will be rallying up the trolls. Just you wait and see.

I spent 120 hours on Xenoblade for Wii and I still skipped a LOT of side quests finishing the game around level 75.

Japan's population has nothing to do with this. The Americas was Nintendo's bastion during the N64 and GC days. Two consoles that were a failure in Europe and Japan and a resounding success for NoA (both selling almost the same amount in the Americas compared to what the SNES sold in the area). The WiiU is

Amazing!!

Sweet baby Jesus... at this rate the WiiU will end up being Nintendo's worst selling console ever made this side of the Virtual Boy. It's sellig at a worse rate than the Gamecube!

a death threat doesn't need to be investigated to see how credible they are or if the target's life really is at risk or not to have the balls to condemn the threat.

When talking about death threats made towards Anita he actually, truly, tweeted that when argumenting a death threat is basically ok if the target doesn't get killed.

He actually, truly tweeted this when talking about the threats Anita receives saying they are unfounded because when someone makes a death threat and its target is still alive then it ok.

But there are!!! Just not on new gen home consoles (at least not yet). Like I said, we've never had as many options as we do now!

You're jaded. It happens. Nothing seems to please you anymore. Have you ever thought about distancing yourself from videogames for a while? If you come back and still can't find enjoyment anywhere then I'd consider retiring.

Well I disagree. Gaming has never been as vast and varied as it is now. Sure the big games are bigger than ever and there are many "me-toos" out there trying to cash in. You underestimate the huge amounts of super niche games and indies that are finding an audience now that would've never thrived in the PS1 and PS2

Excuuuuuse me, but I'd put head to head The Last Of Us' writing against any other well written medium.

I want RPGs with interesting protagonists and settings.

Do you ever have anything positive to say about the industry? Like real positive not "all this is bad, but there's this one exception that proves the everything's bad rule".

Good point about the KH ports but I do believe Type 0 is the exception, not the norm. I have no evidence to support my theory that Type 0 is getting a global release only because Square delayed the japanese release until the western ones were ready.

RType 0 HD is a port of a 3 year old game. Of course it's launching everywhere in the same week! Like I said in my last post: ports dont count. As far as jRPGs made by Square not one has ever released in both Japan and NA in the same month. Not even smaller portable jRPGs like Bravely Default.

There's "no way"? Bullshit!

a) ABC is owned by Disney. Square Enix is not.
