I've no doubt Persona Q is good and worth anyone's time but you'd be pressed to argue that Persona Q is a main entry in the franchise and not a fun little spin off diversion. You'd have a case with Persona 4 Arena which actually continues the story but Persona Q is on 3DS only because it's not a true sequel.

Well it's an RPG. Made in Japan. So it's a JRPG even if it looks and plays like a WRPG.

and for that matter the temporary $350 price of the X1 is also a US only deal. No price cut in Europe, Japan, Australia, Mexico or Brazil even. The $330 deal being a Black Friday deal only which will be bought no matter what is barely worth a mention.

My decision comes down to two simple reasons:

you missed at least Persona 5 which is coming to PS4/3 only and Bloodborne.

Give it time. It took a while to get the jRPG ball rolling on PS3 but it happened. And this time Microsoft isn't muscling their way into jRPGs like with the 360 so it'll happen sooner.

Lost Odyssey is incredibly overrated. Not a bad game but not worth all that praise. And for my money it's an awful looking game with almost OG Xbox caliber graphics and animation (but in HD) and terrible art direction and character designs.

Persona 5, man! Persona, goddamn, five! And it ain't coming to Xbox.

True. But once Microsoft stopped delivering the muscle to keep bringing jrpg exclusives once those early days happened the 360 stopped getting them with the obvious exception of the high profiles ones (Final Fantasy and the two Dark Souls). Hell even the last three big Tales Of games are PS3 exclusive (Xilia 1 and 2

I loved the "Knights of the Crooked Sword" name. Funny stuff!

messing with other people's IPs is always messy and never recommended. But if you want to maintain even a sliver of chance of not getting cease-and-desisted you best not ask for money of any kind and pray they let you alone.

Especially after triple A games like Fatal Frame V which I've never heard about any plans to localize, goes out and sells 35k copies in its home market only! How can they hope to make a profit with those numbers and staying only in Japan!?

I seriously cannot believe Fatal Frame V has only sold 35,000 copies so far. That high production valued videogame which was catered so hard towards the japanese that an international localization has never been talked about is selling that bad in its home country? And it's a WiiU exclusive!? How can that game make

Well of course not! Because the second they do Nintendo sues their ass!

true. But from where I stand it seems Namco doesn't give a shit about the vita and their game either.

Nintendo could and it's in their right to stop this project but the fact that they're not means, sadly, that they're not planning to do anything with their franchise. They'll continue to look the other way as long as the fans making "Mother 4" don't start selling it and making money off of it. If they're doing this

call it what you want but the game ended up selling 1.2 million copies on PS3 alone. Many $20 games wish thy sell that much.

Now playing

if you know next to nothing about the Mother series but are a fan of old school videogames I urge, nah, implore you watch this video. The first 10 minutes is a regular game review but at the 10:30 mark he goes from that to what can be best described as a short film documentary that explains what Mother is.

And you think that's ok? Of course it was a much smaller game than Xilia or Zestiria but I'm a hardcore gamer that daily visits sites like Kotaku, NeoGAF and IGN and if even to me Hearts R managed to sneak past me I can't even think about the rest.

VC1 didn't bomb on PS3, dude. At first it struggled due to a lack of marketing and being released on the very busy November period. But VC defines the term "strong legs".
