In all seriousness, you have to consider the time value of money, cost of capital, and opportunity cost to figure out if borrowing or paying cash makes sense.

Not a Harley rider, but I’ll take a crack at it. Firstly, I love the sound. I know that there are (a lot of) people who don’t, but I love the raw sound. Even better when you control that sound with your wrist.
Secondly, I think the “lack of performance” is a relative thing. That a Harley doesn’t accelerate/stop/turn…
That’s still not a catch all. You can still corrupt a drive with quick removal enabled. You always want to unmount a drive before removing it from a system.
In Windows at least, the USB reader device (generic on the Motherboard or even specific card /USB Hub add-on) can be set for “Quick Removal” (the default, BTW) in the device properties. This disables the write back cache to the device, which makes it slower from a system point of view since the cache is in your RAM…
Depends on the state but there is also garagekeeper liability which makes them liable too, depending on what they do.
Obviously photoshopped. They didn't crash a real Star Destroyer.
I for one have absolutely nothing against the standard F12, but this is utterly stunning. It adds a degree of elegance and understatement which is sorely missing in recent Ferraris. Paint it dark blue, silver or black and discreetly deploy your 700+ ponies. The only tiny criticism I could find is the exposed carbon…
Maybe the driver still thinks that they got it home without a scratch on it.
Good for them. When we had our garage there was a guy, probably in his 30's, who started coming to visit us. I don't know exactly what was wrong with him, but he had a severe speech impediment, physical disabilities (although he was able to get around easily enough) and diminished mental acuity. I don't know exactly…
I can't speak for the *irresponsible* bikers out there (squids, pirates, etc.), but speaking as a (hopefully) responsible law-abiding motorcyclist, I can assure you that we very much do pay attention to the cars on the road, for obvious reasons.
Aww...your Dad was fantastic. I remember him popping up in roles all over the place back in the day. Sorry he's no longer with us. Your post is a warm, fitting tribute to him. Thanks for sharing this.
That guy is Charlea Napier, and he was my Dad. I always loved watching this role on VHS and he would like to play thia song in his study that we built onto the side of our house. We lived way up in the mountains and I was always interested in NASA and Star Trek because we could see the entire milky way with no light…
Finally some sense in the comments. Who the hell says windfalls are the worst???? Worst case government gets half. Well thats still a shit ton better than he was doing before. Drop that in an IRA and some other vanguard investments then wait it out for another 10 years while you enjoy that new taurus and retire on…
And apparently he's still using a Nexus 6.
Don't hate, the California is a solid performer.
Since the introduction of the 308 in the mid 1970s, the entry level Ferrari has been powered by a naturally aspirated V8. That all ends today. Meet the Ferrari 488 GTB, a 3.8 liter turbocharged monster with 660 horsepower that gets to 60 in three seconds. I don't think Ferrari knows what "entry level" means.
And even with such upgrades, youd be stuck with the first gen form factor, when the second and third generations will surely be less bulky.
Apple products hold their value, but this seems silly. If it's solid, not plated, the gold will be worth more than the watch in two years.
