This is great news and the game looks good so far! Like a Monaco/Metal Gear VR Missions hybrid with a focus on solo play. Being as much in love with Thomas Was Alone as I am, I'll be grabbing this one almost immediately upon release, assuming it doesn't somehow manage to terrible reviews anyway. Also, any word on the

On the getting your moneys worth thing. Really, it's $15. I use more than that in gas in two days going to and from work. It's not all that difficult to get your moneys worth. If you play ~4 hours a month, you've probably accounted for that $15.

Clarke was a humanist and largely above contemporary political feuding. He talked about achieving the potential of the human race, not whether or not the government should ban abortions, redistribute wealth, or execute criminals.

I can't recall it making any reference to politics, no. Has a bit of religious commentary in one part I remember, but that's all.

OK, let me try to clarify: Etrian Odyssey is a dungeon-crawler that was released for DS back in 2007. Since then, there have been a whole bunch of sequels. (EO4 came out for 3DS earlier this year.)

So hype for this. The production values are insane, the teams are great, the prize is huge, everything is good!

Not sure, but I think it's in the right general area. I'm still learning (my friend is in the process of being diagnosed, probably celiac), but she's been mentioning numbers in parts per million.

It seems like 20 ppm is pretty conservative, on the low end of what has been found to be safe for individuals with Celiac. However, it's always possible that someone would have issues even below that threshold.

I know a person who would still have a reaction, but he is a special case with serious neurological damage caused by years of gluten exposure, before anyone really believed you could be allergic to it.

Good, because I needed to feel like throwing up again. Seriously, Analogue was amazing and whoever hasn't played/read it should do so now.

The problem with "leave gender out of it" is that it just reinforces the status quo. There's a whole video of women recounting their experiences being treated poorly just because of their gender. You then say, "Psh, these WOMEN, always bringing up gender! Amirite dudes? Who's with me!"

It's funny. Gamers leap to accuse a girl of being a fake geek...then the moment they speak out to demonstrate they're not fakes those same gamers leap to accuse them of trying to hard and that they should just shut up.

It's basically Scribblenauts with DC characters. Travel to iconic locations, do random quests — one guy wanted his own cape, so I gave him a Batman Cape, and he was happy.

shane roberts,

Wow, Chris Brown is gonna be hella disappointed when he finds out beating cancer isn't what he thinks it is.

The second you see something that bothers you...

It's difficult to divorce your feelings from the situation after spending months/years listening, reading and watching Ryan Davis being candid about games and life in general. He may not have been a personal friend you knew in real life, but it still felt that way.

Now playing

Only relevant because SQUEE, but just found this yesterday and... SQUEE!
