I don't think the vendor itself had access to the credit card numbers. As far as I can determine from various readings, the attack went like this:

You're definitely right that the first-party titles just aren't there yet, but at least both systems have some big system-selling multiplats going for them (BF4, CoD:Ghost, AC4). There's a big market of people who bought either console just to play a better version of the yearly release of their favorite franchise.
Can you imagine how much better the launch for the Wii U would have been if it launched with new Mario, Metroid, and Zelda games on day 1? It seems like lately the hardware team and software team just can't meet properly.
I think the may be talking about this: http://ca.ign.com/articles/2014/…
Mario & Luigi: Dream Team has a set of 'birthday gear' items that are 400% more powerful on your birthday. Sadly, I just finished the game last night, and my birthday is in April.
My biggest problem with it on the PS3 is how damn slow it is.
I don't think it's backwards.
If you're referring to the sea shanty one, it was only posted on PA this past Monday (the 20th).
I'd like to point out another couple of RPGs that did something interesting with random encounters - Breath of Death VII and Cthulhu Saves the World.
I see an awful lot of defense of King, in that this is part of defending your Trademarks and your brand. And while you do need to defend these, I think this it's a little disingenuous to say this is the way you normally go about it.
Sims that have been turned into a Ghost will no longer receive an extra diploma.
I remember being told by a friend about Smash Bros when it was first annoucned, and not believing him in the slightest. A fighting game coming from Nintendo, with characters like Mario, Luigi, Link, Samus, Kirby, and Pikachu? It sounded absurd.
I loved the fact that she reacted relatively properly to the violence and death going on around her in the reboot. She goes into shock, nearly shuts down, slowly gets stronger and eventually starts to get inured to it all.
We don't need new laws. We just need to enforce the existing harassment laws we already do have.
Better than pre-order bonuses. At least with this, I can still fulfill these conditions a year from now
Well, if you lock the game at a specific seed, you're going to be stuck with only the items that seed has generated on each level being available to you. And if something is in a hard to reach, or dangerous location of the screen once, it's going to be there each time.
That was exactly my first thought. I'd love the ability to train with some of the items that I only even see every few hours of gameplay, when I actually do find them. As it stands, I sometimes only get to try out a new item for a few seconds before I die (sometimes as a result of using that item).
The big difference is in order to get the money in this promotion, you're not allowed to mention the promotion or that you're being paid in the video.
The problem is that in order to get the money, from their promotion terms, you're not able to disclose you're being paid for it. That may violate US Federal Trade Commission regulations.
