I can't speak for the reasoning for putting the actual word duodecim in there, but the 012 represents the fact that the game's plot is about the 12th cycle/loop of the war, which means it takes place chronologically before the first game.

I'm sick of them too. Luckily, we've had lots of good ones in recent years. And Iron Man 3 looks like it will be another good one.

Better to be ambitious and have some bugs than to be bland and have none. The industry's obsession over safety is exactly what is getting us into sequel hell.

They can leverage launch flags for certain games. For example, if you had TF2 installed, they could use a launch flag to have the game create a .bat file that would autorun when you restart your PC, filled with whatever commands they want.

Why does everyone treat this as if it's something to be laughed at though? Blizzard execs would be stupid, and I mean *really* stupid if they thought WoW could go on forever. I'm sure they are constantly updating their projections for WoW playerbase and revenue and are choosing the company course as a result.

I agree. I just read it a year or so ago for the first time (I'm 27). I really wish I had read it growing up. Sadly, I was a fantasy nerd and eschewed all things Sci-Fi.

Look, we can go on and on about how great the Wii U is, but at the moment there's just not much I want to play on it. I own a 360, a PS3, a gaming PC, and a 3DS. I'll be getting Assassin's Creed 3 for PS3 before the Wii U even comes out. I've already got and beaten Arkham Asylum and Mass Effect 3. If I get Black Ops…

I'm all geared up for the announcement of Kingdom Hearts: We're still not giving you KH3, so here's another sidestory on yet another system. Of course, that's just the project name. I'm sure they'll title it something like Kingdom Hearts: Delicate Orange Antithesis over 3 and a Half Cups of Sugar.

I find it a little odd that they lumped the PSX and PS2 into one era. Same with the NES/SNES for that matter.

Between having Cole (and evil Cole) playable in Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale and this collection, it seems Sony really wants to keep the franchise in the light. Makes me very optimistic for an Infamous 3 (the good ending is canon, for those wondering).
