How many Muslim women have you had a conversation with ever?

Think about the position you’re taking here: You, white man, understand the meaning of the burqua more than the women, who living in a free state, choose to wear them. Do you realize how condescending that is?

Those movies also had a completely different style of acting. I’m not justifying what happened here at all but if you’re comparing generations of directors, I think you have to acknowledge that they were largely making different kinds of movies also.

I can’t really take too much issue with the execution of the chestburster scene. Degrading or just generally being a dick to your actors to make them strung out is another matter.

I mean it makes sense. It takes a long time for new versions of a lot of that software to come out and become standardized enough to work with everything.

One of the funniest things about 4k is the decade plus of effects driven Hollywood films rendered in 2k pipelines.

I think he knows it’s not normal. That’s why it’s treated as an even and live streamed.

Michae Phelps has abnormally long arms. Should he be disqualified?

The tail here is more or less prehensile.

There are some gifs going around. Once he start’s shooting the beams he goes pretty wild.

I don’t need direct trackers lome the third parties but I enjoyed the hot/cold aspect of the 3 system.

I don’t think this guy is trying to force anyone to do anything. No threats were made. No legal actions are being taken. He is making an appeal to Blizzard to be a bit more self reflective about using things out of context though.

I don’t think this guy made any kind of threats, just pointed out that they were using something without understanding what it was.

You have the right to be an asshole but you can also be a bit more self reflective.

Ideas form the basis of motives and actions. Ideas are absolutely important as they are the things that effect people’s lives. Hell the concept that everyone should have the right to say what they want to say and that those rights should be protected and enforced...is an idea.

Actually pointing out to someone that they are borrowing symbols in a superficial way is fairly constructive criticism of artwork.

I man you won’t die if I smash your fingers with a hammer either so that’s a silly standard.

Blizzard doesn’t HAVE to change or acknowlege anything and this guy isn’t mkaing demands or threats of anykind.

Sure you have the right to be an asshole in any context...but it also makes you an asshole, which people are allowed to point out to you. You’re allowed to continue to not care...but that also still makes you an asshole.

But this Hindu leader didn’t add the for else. He just explained the context for the thing this company borrowed and pointed out that it might not be the best choice in the world and asked them to change it.
