True, but how about making the gauges front and center and keeping that other information off to the side? That’s all I am asking for.

When will manufacturers of performance cars start putting the gauges back together again? This is exactly like the Focus RS—based on an everyday sedan with an LCD information screen between the dials. That shit should be moved somewhere else. The driver needs to see the revs and the MPHs. The ambient outside

Sounds nice. I used to play at a Y as well. But nobody seems to have built a new court in ages.

It’s been a while since I’ve played, but one summer living next to those beat up concrete public courts, I probably played two to four hours a day. And it was most definitely not a white-collar thing. We had people of all

Nice! Do you ever find that your sweat actually freezes on your hat/balaclava, face, eyebrows or even your beard (optional)? That’s when you know it’s cold.

Northern New Englander here (not born and bred). It’s not too cold to go outside! I will run into the low single digits, sometimes even below zero.* You just need the right gear.

And then you can be the most smug bastard that ever roamed the Earth when you finish your run and return to your desk.

* When it’s sloppy,

Starred for racquetball. No courts around here, but I used to live essentially next door to an outdoor, public one in a city. Many good times there.

I have seen parts of this video, but never the shoulder roll. I think he tripped. What an idiot. It looks like he had a short baton in this part of the clip, as opposed to a gun. Imagine him tripping and falling and his weapon discharging?

A Mustang drives into a out of Cars-and-Coffee.

FTFY.

“Born in the USA,” by Springsteen? If ever a time and place was right for this song, now would be the time.

ZF or Mercedes-Benz auto? I know the early ones used M-B slushboxes in the transaxle.

I picked up the car a month ago. The short people fit, with one in a booster. They do kick the back of the seat, but they did that in the Venza (lots of legroom) and Sienna (even more legroom) anyway. It just means that I need to clean the winter mud off more regularly back there.

It is tight, but they are still small

Vectrex FTW. I never could afford one back in the day (I am a bit older than you), but damn I so wanted one.

I think the Trumpster hate the CFPB even more than they do Obamacare.

Well, the M coupe has been semi-retired from full-time duty for a few years. But I did drive it a bunch on October before the weather set in. I already sold the second set of winter tires and wheels for it a couple of seasons back. So, it’s not a straight-up switch.

I found the Evo X to be actually pretty sweet on the track. I found the steering to be pretty amazing for what is, underneath, a shitty little $14,000 economy car with an interior made of carboard and used yogurt containers.

Well, I should find out sometime next summer. Ford’s intent was for the car to be track worthy out of the box. We shall see...

1. Years ago, pre-XM5/XM6, BMW’s M engineers promoted their cars as having the “M high-RPM concept.” Nice. I got it and I get it. Then they changed their minds. And it changes the way you work the engines. Perhaps a turbo is not something you want on a track, but I have driven various turbocharged cars on the track as

I bought the M coupe new in ‘02 and somehow managed to keep it despite having three kids. Apparently, the wife is more patient than I ever suspected. The RS is the new M that babies. Now, I didn’t say they were extremely comfortable back there, but “When I was a kid.....”

Oh, hell yeah. And throw in some wrecking ball action for good measure, too.
