Really weird to paint Nintendo negatively for, ya know, protecting their copyright and IP. They told the organizers to not use an emulator, mods, and pirated copies of the game. The organizers said no. The organizers decided to cancel the event instead of continuing with just Ultimate.

The New Batman Adventures was never as good as TAS.

I said this in the other thread, but this was the weakest episode of the series so far for me. Just didn't really do a whole lot for the plot, or even make an interesting stand alone episode. The cameos felt forced, and the child eating those eggs was extremely fucked up. Now the razor crest is wrecked to shit for

I....did not enjoy this episode, for a few different reasons...

1. The rope trick. Really? A rope? A helmet full of advanced tech and you couldn’t see the three marauders directly in front of you setting a trap? I know it’s a nitpick, but I hate it when media does this kind of thing. Here’s your badass main character

Aw.  Having your character look like a weird disgusting mutant was sort of charming.

Disney+ also has the vastly superior Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes which is well worth a binge. There are some really long plot arcs, including Secret Wars.

I just want the next season on Disney+ already

actually I realized when it was too late to edit that the celebrity personal assistant is a valet, but the other two aren’t, it really seemed at the beginning like Peter was a legal associate.

As an American, the accents sound okay to me. I was struck by how posh the kids sounded when first introduced and Oliver Jackson-Cohen’s does stand out every now and then as being over the top thick, but then I wonder if there’s real people that sound like that and I’m just not familiar. I also occasionally crack up

As an adult that’s still a huge Digimon fan, I think the first two parts do hold up pretty well in this mix, but as someone who never really liked Season 2 because I felt it had a major tonal shift for the 3 new main characters, the third part is pretty bad.

I do need to actually watch the japanese subs though for all

I’m not about this negativity up in here. The Digimon movie was great. Great enough that when I found a full copy on Youtube 3 years ago I sat and watched it until 4am. It paved the way for Summer Wars.

Counterargument: it was

The switch was my first Nintendo console and it really fucked with my head that the lower button wasn’t confirm.

If you thought Dany’s turn was sudden, you weren’t watching the show at all. She consistently, from the very beginning, was “Fire and Blood” this and that, spent the entire show believing she was entitled to the Seven Kingdoms and that countless people were just waiting for her to show up to throw support behind her,

It’s certainly a jarring decision I don't think anyone expected, but I'm sure I'll be fine with it. It's trading an off-brand Andrew Garfield for an off-brand Tom Holland, so it feels like a wash

ALSO, Grasscutter has historical basis:

I always figured it was because she appeared for like one or two paragraphs in one novel.

With all the money that was sunk into producing the puppets, the sets that can hide the puppeteers, and the new technology featured in the Crystal Calls documentary... I assumed they had no choice but to reuse all of that stuff in 2 more seasons just to recoup the upfront investment. Perhaps cheaper voice actors could

Whew, it’s Jesse, so I know that our opinions of the movie aren’t likely to be similar. ;)

Along this line of reasoning, Rowling has likely already been handed the money she’s going to make from the licensing deal. I doubt she makes a percentage of the profits from units sold, though I guess it’s possible. And though the developers won’t get any money directly from copies purchased, their studio and their
