What would a second season even have been? If Cyberpunk continues as an anime I hope that each ‘season’ is its own thing. An anthology series fits this world so much better. There are so many stories that could be told, just following these same characters would be a waste.

maybe it’s just me but this doesn’t look anything like a Resident Evil adaptation. if I didn’t know this was titled Resident Evil I’d think it was any other generic zombie apocalypse show.

I think the best case scenario is a press release that says, “We consider those stories and characters to now be part of the Legends universe and look forward to adding new stories in their place.”
