So even if they unionize, is there anything to prevent these companies from just letting them all go and hiring non-union workers? They obviously don’t care about the optics.

Damn, one of the ones without Macross...
I mean it has rollback netcode, so it’s already better than Smash...
I’m not meaning reprints as much as I am all the streamers and speculators and whatnot that were buying up all the old sealed product and opening them, introducing more of those original first edition cards into the market.
It’s almost as if they don’t realize that the whole reason the card was so valuable is because it was rare, and now that people went Pokecard crazy during Covid and introduced dozens, if not hundreds, more into the market, that their value will go down...
There are two types of people: Those that know May’s theme song is the official bop of summer, and damn liars.
Good for her, but the real litmus test will be if that $90k drops to like $30k.
“What? Another sword character?!? Where’s Dante?”
Considering that Bandai Namco makes Smash, it seems pretty phoned it, but at least it’s not Fortnite Guy.
I mean, it’s not like it’s the 20th anniversary of one of their most popular fighting games that people have been begging for any kid of port of. Or that a character from a beloved franchise is being added to SF5 that also hasn’t been ported to anything. But sure, tell us about DLC for games we already know is…

If anything, I am absolutely sure that this will come for free with whatever they call the second FF7R game.
I don’t think he’s talking about the actor, but the plot. I mean he may have other kids that were never mentioned in the games, but canonically we only know of the one.
I just learned the hard way that it just takes ONE SAVE file when you do it. You can do it over and over again by booting PS4, uploading it, then booting PS5 and importing it, then repeat for each file.
You can’t trick me. This some Dark Souls-ass Dark Souls.
If more and more people are opening these old cards, then doesn’t that mean more and more are entering the market and therefore their value should be going down?
2022? At the rate of the reveal trailers, I wasn’t expecting it until at least 2024.
An aquaintance was like “You haven’t gotten to the factory yet? That’s the scariest part of the game!” Then I got there and it was a boring Doom meets Lost Planet slog.
It’s not even Pokemon. The English version of the new Digimon card game launched during covid and all the product got bought up and was resold for 4 or more times retail price to the point where people who just want to play it can’t. Some of the cards are already over $100.
I literally cancelled my subscription this morning before this news even dropped, just because I realized I hadn’t consumed more than a handful of their content all pandemic other than the podcasts.
