By far the best anime drama in years, maybe of the current millennium. Either out of laughter, joy, or sadness, I teared up almost every episode.

I’m rooting for this show. The very first comic I ever read as a kid was an issue of Spectacular Spider-Man with Cloak and Dagger in it.

I lived in Japan in the pre-blu-ray days. I know the pain of paying 7000 yen for two episodes of a series, so I’m thankful as hell for streaming services.

Since Infinity War is the “sequel” to Black Panther, I think it will beat it because it will still be riding high off of Black Panther. Marvel/Disney definitely need to double down on including him in the IW advertising.

Gocchin has always been a Monster Hunter fiend. Now she’s semi-retired and recently had a kid, so she’s got even more time for hunting. She’s basically a Japanese version of a mommy-blogger now.

But contrast it to the whole season was about Jessica not being a killer and how much the idea is destroying her, compared to Trish whose initial solution to absolutely everything this season was to point a gun at it. She might as well be partnering up with the Punisher for his second season.

Please no. Trish was absolutely the goddamned worst, and in no way deserves to get rewarded for any of her actions this season.

The first two episodes are an absolutely miserable slog, but it does get better. I almost gave up at the same point myself.

Seriously, Trish is the goddamned worst at making choices that affect her friends. If her and Barry Allen got together, the multiverse would implode...

Maybe first on screen interspecies gay couple but, come on, we know what was up with Baze and Chirrut...

When I was there I rented a small house one stop outside Kyoto for almost the same amount. It was older and basically just two large rooms and a couple of bathrooms stacked on top of each other, but I loved the place.

There’s a character fighting with them in that first episode that I can only describe as “white Lando,” glorious moustache and all. I’m wondering if it was originally supposed to be him and they changed it because it’s too much of a direct tie to the OT.

I think you’re overestimating the amount of time that has passed. I’m pretty sure the epilogue is right after Jedi, only making this about 6 years later.

LupinRanger, or as I call them the Swag Rangers, is the dopest thing going right now. And their origin in episode 2 is DARK.

Not just droids. Hell, in this last episode he committed the most brutal off-screen murders in the entire franchise when he ran down all those Stormtroopers in the excavating machine. Also the time he crashed two Star Destroyers into each other. His body count is second only to the people that blew up the Death Stars.
