The Overwatch Open is on this week and the North American matches I watched today went with more conservative teams. Ana was still a key part, but one of the teams was getting tons of mileage out of boosting Reaper with her and having him shred the whole team.

I thought it was pretty much confirmed that she’d be out on November 1st, due to the skull clue. We definitely don’t need her any earlier than that since Ana hasn’t even been in the game long enough to make a significant impact.

We got pretty much what I was expecting but expecting a game to WORK is not hype.

How did you manage 30 hours on PS4? Less than a dozen hours in, it now crashes for me so often that I had to shelve the game until it’s fixed.

I had those crashes in less than an hour and a half of playing. I had it crash while warping, while coming out of a save, while exiting a space station, and just while walking around on a planet. I’ve played around 12 to 15 hours, but had at least 8 blue screens.

Considering it crashed 4 times on me today on PS4, it’s not that hot there either. I’m putting it on the shelf until there’s some stability patches.

I just could not get past the voice acting and sound quality. Is it the player that is bad or is the audio mix just not that good?

My first 10km egg hatched a Snorelax and he is indeed a bad mo-fo. He’s nearly twice the CP of my other ones. Also just caught a 312 Eevie outside that I can’t wait to evolve when I get the candies.

I got the most satisfying POTG with Rein last night. Offense on King’s Row, literally five seconds after the match started, I charged through the gap to the left of the payload and mowed down Zen and Widow while I pinned Soldier and took him out, then turned around and bopped a Hanzo.

If the voice acting is a loving tribute to the terrible acting in 90s era Sega CD games, then they nailed it!

Hopefully it is like Hearthstone and Diablo where you get the rewards just for participating in it enough to get the early ranks. In Hearthstone you just need to go from rank 25 to 20 to get the cosmetic rewards, and there is no penalty for losing at those levels.

Honestly, he’s a pretty bad assassin. He uses the loudest weapons ever and just leaves them laying all over the place.

I’d like to see some of these mythical Bastion counters. Short of picking Genji, if a Bastion is posed up in a hallway or a corner with a low roof, you’re not touching him. Hell, I’ve flanked him, started attacking him, and had him turn and kill me before a second shot even gets off.

I was about to come in and complain about my waifu not getting her due, but see she’s number one. All is right in the world.
