This can call any country at all?
Oh whoa, that's actually really cool. The any-phone part of it. Is their quality up-to-par though? Like, is it cheaper because it's less worth it? :P
So how does this compete against something like Skype, or Google Voice? (Aside from the fact that Google's too cool to support my country. :P)
Vote: Smartphone!
Oh, mine was rooted a month after I got it :) I have the same opinion when it comes to ROMs for the most part, but the bugs/features in them are what drive me towards one or another. For example the AOKP ROM I'm on now, only 3rd party camera apps work and even those are pretty buggy. But there aren't any other bugs so…
Yeahhh it's really sad how easily people overlook stuff like that :/ to be honest, i'm probably the other extreme :P Got my phone more than a year ago now, i think, and installed my first ROM two days ago haha! It's a relatively un-modded phone model, so I didn't have much to work with earlier on since it had only…
:D
No, I understand too. :) I was very keen on doing so too, hahaha. I just found that comment and thought i would post it here as well so some people see it before jumping into something w/o reading up on it. (there's ALWAYS people like this, so.)
Hahaha this wasn't my problem! Was one of the comments on the thread. :P
"for the first time i was using this on my xperia s moments back! i was flashing a new rom, i did everything as it said, some cmd stuff appeared, and later phone booted into cwm, and then automatically off! now its not turning on, neither showing any lights! completely off! any way guys? i am in panic! its not getting…
That isn't a bug, it's just a fault with your sync settings :) edit those and it will sync them to your device for offline use. :D
Amen
Ohh alright! I had no idea they'd used HTML5 at first hahaha
Just curious: what did Firefox have to go native with?
Why?
I've no idea if it's the same for every phone, but on Sony/Sony Ericsson models it makes a MASSIVE difference to the dialer speed. Before I cleared mine it would take AGES to load. Now it's just a few seconds more than i would ideally like.
If you're on an iPhone - save the link as a bookmark, you can add it just like you add other bookmarks to your home screen. :)
Of course, this is only in the next 3 months, not right now. Unless you're really, really lucky and already have one of those fancy tablets for testing.
