Tasker can pop up notifications at any battery level you want. It can pop on screen, in the notification bar, play a sound and vibrate the phone. You could even have it give you a menu with power options like airplane mode toggle for if you are far from power.

Pirelli tell the teams what temp the tires should run at, then they are blanketed to that temp. This seasons tires are crazy sensitive to temp changes, too cold you lose grip, too hot and they wear so fast you need another stop to finish the race.
