Structural integrity mostly, yes.
Structural integrity mostly, yes.
Let's hope there is more thought and logic put into the actual film than into the poster. Makes for a startling image, but is truly and stupidly impossible.
Okay, but you've acknowledged that you are a creative force, not merely an organizer (which, let's be honest, requires more than organizational skills and some form of creativity) or number-cruncher.
Of course, there are different kinds of producers, both formally and informally based upon their interests and goals. I just tire of people painting all producers with the same brush of being merely "money people" when often it's simply not the case.
It actually does, since some producers are 'creative' producers, originating ideas, fostering them, finding the financing and attaching the talent to get THEIR VISIONS on the screen.
Meh. Didn't care for the dull original, and found the sequel an utter mess of a hodgepodge of stories from other, better films. I even tried the animated series and literally dozed off ten minutes in. I find it all overwhelmingly silly in concept and execution, and am apparently just not a "Tron" person.
Producing doesn't require 'talent'?
Yay! Let's hope we are correct.
Me, too!
Yep.
One would think so given the blatant attempt to emulate the 'alien distress call' from the original "Alien" trailer...
"It displaces air and makes people to high to notice."
LOL
Mine arrived from Amazon today, but sadly is still sitting in the box until I finish work. I was slightly dubious about it based on the advance info, but the nine year old in me will love it regardless of some of the more questionable-looking elements.
Along with the recent controversy surrounding the "Help Santa Parade" in Ottawa last month, the 501st is taking a lot of unfair bashing for doing a lot of REALLY good things for people.
Agreed. I didn't watch "Enterprise" after the pilot, which I hated, until earlier this year and I absolutely loved it. Are there clunky episodes and through-lines? Yes, but overall, it was a damned good show and superior to the bizarrely more-popular "Voyager".
Good list, even though the first twenty or so minutes of "Stargate" is vastly superior to the rest if the film - it's too bad it couldn't support that tone throughout. One kvetch...
Copy that.
No, one does not want to use distribution prints to master for video.
Of course it's frustrating to some, myself included. I am an incredible nerd, a diagnosed Aspie, and suffer from some related social anxiety disorders. HOWEVER, I am capable of communicating with folks quite handily without coming across as a weirdo, and my life does not revolve around my nerdy obsessions.
