Well, given that insurance was born of the historical relative to space travel, seafaring, it seems to me that it shouldn't be that large a stretch to adapt to the new paradigm, once the business really (pardon) gets off the ground.

Indeed it was.

How appropriate that the artwork used to illustrate this article is from the Elijah Bailey/R. Daneel Olivaw series by Asimov, since the "new" show sounds very much like something from that world.

Seen a normal cat?

You know, the E-Space trilogy gets a lot of flack, but "Warrior's Gate" is actually a pretty darned good episode (and also introduces hand-held video, which was a novelty at the time) and worth checking out, as is "Inferno" from the Pertwee era.

Correction: slaughter and/or rape.

I don't know. After having seen not only what raptors are capable of as well as what seemingly harmless jays can do (like decapitating sparrows mid-air), in addition to the constantly evolving research into bird intelligence, I find them a tad intimidating even at normal size.

Having an adoring admiration for the domesticated cat and finding them adorable wouldn't lessen the terror of being stalked and hunted by their larger cousins on the savannah.

Oh? That seems alarmist and misinformed.

Reminds me of the sort of training given to Rolls Royce customer service regarding what could and could not be said to be the matter with one's car or how much things might cost.

It's CineFEX... #correction

Sorry, but, just... Massive facepalm.

Well, I've had voice interactivity on my PCs since the late 1990s, along with varying capabilities to control either software or external hardware with vocal commands, complete with snarky "Siri-like" responses. Granted, I'm something of a tech nerd, but I didn't devote that much energy to achieving this

Wait... Why would anyone fund Ubi, which is an antiquated technology already available to anyone with a home computer?

Oh, Charlie, if we could know this, we would all sit back and simply manage or allow others to create for us...

The last one is a horse, not a deer. #deercorrection

This sort of behavior is not atypical in any retail environment, sadly.

I know people who work on it, too.

It's unfortunate that the visual effects and makeup teams are so inept on that program that they fail to achieve a look close to that (rather ugly) artwork. Why is this terrible show still on?

Yes, I recognize the root of the word (i.e., 'coruscate') but it hadn't occurred to me that it was related. As for the Zahn connection, my knowledge of Star Wars is limited to the films.
