That is a complete fallacy - those in the business who actually earn big money are in the minority.

Yes, see my additional response.

In fact, the 1992 Home Audio Recording Act states clearly that one is allowed to make copies for archival purposes. Under the DMCA, ripping of DVDs protected by copy protection IS considered illegal because software used to do so breaks the CSS protection, but this is still somewhat of a grey territory given ongoing

I've had varying levels of success the few times I've tried to make backups. When I was on a Windows machine, I had to purchase 'backup' software, which generally worked but could cost around seventy bucks. The Mac has some free apps that do the job more effectively, but not everything is rippable. However, I seldom

You have the right to make backup copies, and you (unlike so many others) have at least made the purchase to begin with. I see no problem with such scenarios as you suggest, but your own experience is outside the norm.

When you've had your work pirated, get back to me and we'll see how snarky you feel.

Actually, "Alive in Joburg" had more of a straight narrative.

The fact that this was produced by successful and experienced producer Jim Wedaa is yet another reason to question the $150.00 figure. It may very well have been produced relatively cheaply, but that's a ridiculous figure (although, given the performances, the talent was likely quite cheap).

Yawn.

Perhaps I am in need of a good flogging.

Well, given that the 'creatures' are present within the tunnel as well, one can surmise that these are the smudgy remains of some flying insect.

Erm...
