Half-Life 3 will be out before this is. Both likely will be tremendous disappointments as well.

These guys have a very distinct odor of fundamentalist Christian “high on life” about them. Someone really needs to slip them a pot brownie at their next family gathering.

It’s like someone saw a picture of a Daihatsu midget II and thought “Hey, I could build one of those!” and then got to welding.

It is alcohol soluble though.

I'm glad at least one other person noticed that.

My first supermarket experience was startling as well, but for different reasons. The amount of choice that we have here is just short of insane. I was used to, for example, one or two available mustards as opposed to more than twenty at the markets here. It was like the scene at the end of “The Hurt Locker” when he

It's a terrible feeling I know all too well. It does slowly get better, but it will take time.

Worse than a 2002 Ford Taurus? You have some messed up aesthetic priorities.

People I talk to are so out of touch with what the world is like and its a bit difficult to have a conversation with anyone after the learn that I have been out of the country for so long.

I have episodes IV and V. The ROTJ edit is also out but

Lucasified of course. Hunt around for the "despecialized" version. You'll be glad you did.

That's only through 1990. I would imagine a similar map for the last 25 years would have a lot more yellow and orange.

Admittedly that one took me a second to get. Well done.

Fucking Narita. It’s a cobbled together shitshow that is difficult to navigate, has mediocre amenities for its size and is an hour and a half out (at least) from downtown Tokyo by a train that, last time I took it, cost 80USD. Plus the whole airport smells like cheese.

Less than a minute.
