I do some work with CS for fun, edit GoPro videos for my car club, and play games on my current late 08 MBP so both are a huge upgrade. Sounds like the 15" retina model is the way to go as of right now. Looking to purchase within a month.

Does the lack of a NVIDIA graphics processor on the 13" MBPr make purchasing a 15" MBPr worth the difference in cost?
I was very much ready to pull the trigger and purchase this, but the fact that it doesn't have the NVIDIA graphics and no options for flash memory makes me want to just spend the extra money and get the 15".
Wish we could get these market stunts in my area. I liked the one where you had to push a button a set amount of times and do a bunch of other craziness to win a free drink.
I have the GoPro dive mount that came out last Summer. The GoPro 3 is a different size so I don't think any of the Hero 2 or original will work with it.
EDIT: several HUNDRED dollars
So the several dollars in accessories I spent within the year for my Hero2 such as Wifi Combo kit and dive mount won't work with the Hero3?
I'm grandfathered into unlimited with AT&T but they keep harassing me with texts and emails when I go over 2GB a month, throttle my connection, and say I'm tethering when I'm not. Just done using them. Sprint has good coverage in my area too. So I'm just gonna hold onto my iPhone 4s for another year and upgrade when…
I have considered letting my AT&T contract run out in a year and switch to Sprint since it's the only one who offers unlimited without restrictions. I wonder if this will continue to be case after being bought by Softbank?
Fayetteville, NC. It's on October 26 in downtown Fayetteville.
Definitely picking up the iWound for our annual Zombie Walk.
At home, never. At work I have to burn CDs and DVDs all the time. Thumb drives and external HDD are blocked on the D0D network so other than using our file server, CDs and DVDs are the most convenient form of keeping drivers, programs, etc.
Made the leap from TWC to CenturyLink DSL. I have much better consistency with speed and it has not gone out on me once.
So far my Apple TV 3 serves as a netflix player in my daughter's room and the occasional AirPlay for my iPad. Would be nice to see some native apps appear soon.
Yeah, but that's still too late as others have said.
I think torrenting shows is still the best option. I have Netflix and it is very handy to watch shows I've never seen or to entertain my 3 year old. They lack when it comes to new content. Movies are several months old and seasons of shows are often a few seasons behind. An example is Breaking Bad. I never watched the…
Even at 3GB, if I have an unlimited data plan I shouldn't be throttled. Either force me to change plans or leave me alone. I really am sick of AT&T though and will be switching when able. Sprint seems the best option, but their coverage isn't that great in my area.
I would have made the switch to Sprint if their coverage wasn't so bad in my location.
I sure love the throttling I get on my unlimited data plan from AT&T after 2 gigs.
