He did, by removing the first skin graft completely. It was basically a 2 part procedure.

A little of column A, a little of column B.
Is Hannah thirsty? Or did the producers set up this arc to make this season interesting?
I watched this last night, and Dr. Nassif (with help from his mentor) did an AMAZING job. You could barely see the scar line left when it was all said and done.
also a big fan of the show but apparently more cynical than you...I constantly wonder about the people who applied for the show but were rejected because the doctors didn’t think they could help and/or didn’t want to ruin the illusion of their perfection. Also, the woman last night did appear to have a droopy eye…
They also might be the only plastic surgeons in America who will say to a patient, on camera, “I won’t do this unnecessary procedure you’re asking for and here’s why.”
When they have to cut a big area like that out of your groin, the skin is really stretchy, they just stretch it together and suture. There’s bruising and stretch marks at first, it sucks hard for a couple months, and about a year later you can barely tell.
Honestly I thought that too. Obviously at first you notice the fact that she’s got a different colored patch on her face, but the minute she started talking you didn’t even see it anymore.
I always ff over the obviously over the top patients and go right to the cases they help. They really are outstanding surgeons and I’m always so excited to see the end result.
Skin grafts are super cool if you’re into that sort of science nerdiness. They are either full thickness (the epidermis and dermis are removed from the donor site) or split thickness (only the epidermis and a layer of the dermis are harvested). For split thickness grafts, they take such a thin layer of the skin that…
Having had skin graft done after melanoma surgery, I naturally look at the match, and the skin used on her face is a poor match. I was worried about how mine would look and it was on the back of my hand. The surgeon and I actually talked about what skin seemed to match my hand best before he operated. Hoping that it…
Apart from those strange beings who have foreign accents and top heavy boobs and overly plasticized faces and who swear they want bigger boobs and slimmer noses and are our comic relief, they actually do appear to improve mistakes fixing what other doctors botch. And 99 percent of the time they are regular folks like…
I mean, while it’s interesting that it’s pubic hair, I don’t think this requires anything more complicated than using a permanent laser hair removal procedure to destroy the hair follicles. Unless there’s something I’m missing.
Patch of pubes on her face or not, she’s stunning and I love her positivity and charm.
I have not personally attacked her. Simply asking people like her to reflect on why their voices are amplified. Over the last 2 years famous white women have been lauded for their opposition to Trump with breathless headlines. Meanwhile women of color have always been against Trump. They have been the resistance…
Especially when one of the movies that really put him on the map (Big) was directed by a woman.
The women winners were nearly all white apart from Awkwafina who was making history, in 2020, 70+ years since the establishment of the Golden Globes. The point is Patricia Arquette and Michelle Williams could make those great speeches because they have access. Access is power. Access to their powerful platform has…
Well he was right in a way. Red carpet politics is just so empty and pathetic. If they want to affect real change they should put their money where their mouth is tbh.
Except nobody is killing babies. What would be killing babies would be, you know, killing actual babies.
To all the over-reactionaries who are trying to make me out to be a Tom Hanks hater: Yes, Tom did mention several women during the course of his eternal speech, but at a certain point he referenced specifically a list of directors he admired, and he was citing them by first name only, and it was the same old guard.…
