All Hail the Jalopnik commentariat!

Where is that elusive 11.8% of Female 911 buyers? I know them not.

I had one for my old Celica, but that had more to do with the fact that the vinyl was worn. Also, it was a threaded version (And the colour matched the interior almost perfectly), and so it was cinched up so it didn't move and made holding the steering wheel pleasant again.

I get a sneaking suspicion that we probably need 20 answers for tomorrows AOTD given the variety of responses here.

Everytime I see this I throw up a little in my mouth.

I agree with you on all points except one: The trim removal tool I paid $2 for was money very well spent.

You must be from Toronto, its better out west here :P

Alberta, Canada. Some exist, but they are all rust buckets.

Yuck. There should be a test before one is allowed to work on their own vehicle.

Windshields. For the love of all that is holy, windshields. They charge the same amount for the glass as they do to include install. They make sure the sealant is correct (assuming a reputable shop), and that the trim is properly taken off and replaced.

I didn't see that coming. Well done sir!

They are too hard to get a hold of now. Trust me, I was looking.

Oh man, I feel for you. Electrical problems are misery in a bucket.

I'm about to be rebuilding a 1990 Audi 90 Coupe, little bit of body work, but mostly mechanical stuff so far. The guy who owned it before had 250 ish km on the clutch so, sucks to be him but great for me (After I replace the steering rack, starter, fix the exhaust, etc etc)

Give the man his star already.

I have to be super careful with what music is in there, if it is upbeat, I drive faster. No questions.

Ah! It is the HID + Stereo mods *only*.

Any time I see HID's and stereo upgrades, and nothing else, I strongly suspect it has been abused.

This I had not seen. My day has been made. *walks off chuckling*
