I'll agree on the FT86... but only in its original spec.

@Captain Slowbro: Amen brother.
@cobrajoe is being sued by Shelby: Some of the cars we buy are bought with the heart. And an unfortunate disregard for our wallets.
Jaguar. The leaping cat. I considered buying one just for the ornament.
Ford Explorer Sport Trac. Only around for 11 years (2000-2011), it looks just a little off right now and there are just enough of them for car clubs to form.
I sent a request for the title pic so I could print it and put on my wall. They turned me down. Isn't that considered free publicity?
Did they miss all the T-shirts with his face on it?
@machaus: Hard. Not impossible unfortunately. My rear journal bearing went and the entire crank sat back.
@JawzX2: I third this. I helped a guy I knew by rebuilding the carb on one as it would idle up to 60 mph...
It isn't as pretty as the original. It just isn't.
Is the PDK faster than an average human? Yes. Is it more fun? No. Hell no. Nothing beats the feeling of coming in hot to a corner, heel-toe 3rd to 2nd and flowing through it at speed.
For me personally, (and I owned one so I'm admittedly biased), it has to be the Gen 3 Celica's. 2.4L, 110ish hp, and pure joy every time you drive, look or think about it.
It was not an innovative small car. It was a horrible, soul sucking little box.
Pbbth to AC. up here in Canada it needs to be insulated and heated so I can use the other 8 months of the year without freezing digits.
@Elhigh: No, that is Misery's ride.
Mr. Musk, I have to hand it to you to stand up and deal with this head on. Definitely earns applause from me.
@LuckyChuck: I love Porsche's, but I have to agree. In general, the guys who buy these are way worse than M3s, Vette's etc. Specifically though, 911's and to a lesser extent, Boxter's. I havn't met a jerk with a Cayman yet.
@invincible-delta-88: That's just because no one has them yet. Give it time, they'll be hated too.
I have to disagree with number 1. I had a friend with an 84 Aries, and it was a hateful little box. It didn't help that the carb was so badly messed up that it would idle up to 100, even after I and another guy rebuilt pieces of it, the idle would still reach 40.
Why can't Porsche just race them already?
