I just don't get the appeal of this style of game.. Sure there is a slight bit of nostalgia for pixelated graphics, but this just looks rather generic.

My problem with games like this is that I'll do something that I know will fail just because I want to see every animation, so then I feel like the game thinks I'm stupid and I don't like that, I want the game to have a good opinion of me.

It's also worth noting that the game's title began with "Tales of" which ensured at least a 75% chance the game would be horrendous.
