Thanks for mentioning thyroid function. I think I remember being taught that up to 1/3 of adults are potentially affected by some sort of pituitary tumour (kinda scary when you think about it) and it definitely seems to be an overlooked component to weight gain/loss.

Yeah, fuck you too, New York.

need me some of that blue shit

Nah, I get where you're coming from. The Closer did an episode ("Road Block") where the episode focused on the suspect and presented the main characters who were solving the murder as the "villains" and it kind of made me wish there were more shows that did that sort of thing.

so basically, you want hitman: the slasher film?

No, your eye colour can change over time, too. Especially if you end up on glaucoma medication.

Tell me about it! I can't eat raw tomatoes, I think they are disgusting.

Gee, I'm really glad you learned something about polyamory from video games, Patty. Because, well, this is what video games taught me about having two girlfriends.

it's all about the execution.

Those are some of the best captions, like, ever.

I have seen folks who have played the Japanese and European versions of Bravely Default report that the last few chapters are rather unpleasant. To avoid spoilers, I haven't read too much about what happens, but there's a lot of chatter on message boards about tedium and repetition. I'm 16 hours in, and I've loved

The Japanese version had two releases, the second being a "revised" version that has a few minor gameplay changes and some more options like being able to change the encounter rate, etc. The English release is based on the revised version.

Apparently I was right, it uses virtual retinal display technology and the image is 2.5m away (thanks to the magic of prisms, probably).

Do you actually have a Glass? I was under the impression that the Glass beams the image directly onto the retina and takes into account the optics of the eye so that accommodation (i.e. "eye strain") isn't necessary.

If the HUD were on the lenses themselves your eyes would not be able to resolve that image. To show you what I'm talking about, try holding a picture an inch away from your eye and see if you can clear it. Odds are unless you're quite shortsighted or very, VERY young you won't be able to.

As someone who works in the optical industry, can I just warn you all about the dangers of buying frames online? There's a whole bunch of physical considerations concerning the fit that need to be taken into account which you really can't get through the online experience, especially if your prescription is on the

After I read the title, I most definitely did not misread Future BuddyFight as Fuck BuddyFight. No sir, I did not.

Can I ask why everyone finds the photos so disgusting?

They very much probably used some dilating drops so they could see the full extent of his cataracts. Sorry to disappoint :(

I know, right? Everyone just needs to calm the hell down. They're just cataracts.
