It certainly helps, but I could probably summarise the plot of the first game into about 3 sentences and you'd be able to follow what's going on in BG2.

I'd have much fonder memories of Pokemon TCG if they hadn't banned it at my school. Silly anti-bullying rules...
I might have cried a little, but they weren't happy tears.
It turns out that the infected were almost much different, the storyline almost featured a vengeful-and-totally-alive Tess chasing after Joel and Ellie (hence the above image), and—oh yeah—they almost adopted a puppy. A freaking puppy! Ellie would find it and the duo would decide to raise it, according to Game…
Have you been able to look into surgical treatment options and/or contact lenses for your keratoconus? Not to be a stickler but you said there's "no cure" when in fact there are a variety of ways to treat the condition, so I'm a little worried for you.
he said why DON'T you, not why DIDN'T you. whether walt asked him for help in the past or not is irrelevant
Walt ruined the character.
What you just described is pretty much any hookup app (Grindr etc.) which are used fairly widely. I wouldn't be surprised if using Craigslist is much the same.
As others have said, it depends on who owns the rights to a song and whether or not they care, and it can also depend on the type of user you are. If you gets lots of viewers you'll probably end up on some copyright watchlist, whereas if your videos have 74 views it's unlikely anyone will care (unless YT's software…
This, pretty much. If you live in the suburbs or a small town then you don't want your food to be TOO exotic because your target audience (?) will be too small to sustain business. Example: any Chinese takeaway restaurant (heh).
Then again, if they'd just made Korra do another round-the-world trip it would be treading some very familiar ground and every episode would probably turn into "look at how location x has turned out 70 years in the future!"
I don't believe there's a membrane over the cornea, though, unless you mean the tear film (which shouldn't be affecting LASIK) or Descemet's membrane, which is underneath the cornea. If you'd really like I can link you to some reliable literature which explains the cornea really well?
The surgery was aborted midway through so it's unlikely he'll be able to reap the benefits of it :(
Gay men are buff gym rats everywhere...
ENGAGING CYNIC MODE
Richard, forgive me if this comes off as rude, but how exactly was your surgery a failure? Did the surgeon explain to you why? I'm just curious to know, is all. I'm an optometry student so I'm naturally fascinated by botched eye surgery, I guess.
It sounds like a good idea, but it just doesn't work for some of us. People in my family have to get up anytime between 5:30 and 8 so it's pretty much impossible to eat breakfast together.
When I was in school I'd have afterschool stuff until 5, but the bus wouldn't get me home until 6:40. If you have to commute for a private school (lots of kids do in Australia) then it wouldn't surprise me that people are getting home after 7.
it refers to abruptly shocking/tragic/violent endings in games/anime that, on the surface, appear to be very happy otherwise. It comes from the ending of the School Days anime, which was, uh, quite shocking.
God damn it that scene gave me nightmares for a fucking long time.
