Living in the land of no rain (SoCal), the next best thing is driving up into the mountains with some blankets, pillows, a Thermos of hot chocolate and putting the top down to watch a meteor shower.

Sorry Torch, I did the math and you're wrong. If you run through all the variables and plug them into your equation, you'll find the coziest man-made thing is inside a submersible in the antarctic ocean.

The biggest flaw with this argument is that a car's comfort is temporary: you're going to have to get back out into that rain at some point.

Yes, Jason, it's the coziest if you don't run out of wood.

I'm no mathematician, but this equation reduces to C=w.

I'm teetering on the edge of getting one of these. You should look into it at least. At least test drive one. They're well under budget once you figure in the tax credits, alghough resale is questionable at this point.

Fisker Karma!

De Tomaso Pantera. They're exactly in the price range, and you may even profit!

Suggestions: Classic car (maybe a c2 corvette), Supra and do crazy things with it, FD rx-7 and do crazy things with it, NSX, Grand National, cl65 amg, z06, viper, z28 camaro. Though really i think you should totally consider a classic car, go to a mecum classic car auction (big story buying the car at auction there),

Is it time to do offroad Doug? Methinks so

There's a book you should read called "Three Felonies a Day." The general idea is that there are so many laws now, that the average person unknowingly commits three felonies per day.

not to scare drivers.

He should have put on a cop outfit and shot an unarmed black kid; he'd get a paid vacation.
