I’m Albertan, and currently live in Calgary (unfortunately not in any of the ridings the Liberals won). I voted for the NDP provincially, and Liberals Federally. I’m an archaeologist by training, which in Alberta is heavily dependent on the oil and gas sector, and isn’t too rosy. But we, as Canadians, and as a country

Christ, I have people that are comparing a Liberal Canada to civil war wracked Syria. And who are also complaining about the increased levels of refugees that Canada will promise to house. Drama queen doesn’t even begin to encompass that level of stupidity.

Also the first time in Canadian history that the 3rd party of the house was subsequently elected as any kind of government.

While he supported it, he was not instrumental. The PC had a majority in parliament, which means it would have passed regardless of Trudeau’s backing. Particularly since the PC MP’s were under Harper’s thumb. Interestingly enough, although all of the Liberal MP’s voted for it, only two Liberal senators voted for it

Has anyone been able to get it on an ipad? I can find it in the app store on a computer, but no dice on the ipad, despite it saying it is available for the ipad...

We don’t get Mucinex here in Canada :(

Dear Lord, that was exhilarating. I’m convinced that pooch was thinking this every time it was deking around any of the people on the field:

Hmmm. We painted our baby room last Saturday in preparation for the lil one, and it still smells like paint. I wonder if it would work for lingering paint fumes...

#1 for the win. Now I know exactly what I’m getting my faunal obsessed former MA supervisor.

Starred for releasing the Kraken.

My buddies and I hold a Beers of the World tasting every Remembrance Day Weekend, and this is exactly how we set it up.

Don’t misunderstand me, I wouldn’t just replace them for no functional reason. My place was built in the early 80’s. I’m sure plastic piping has come a long way since then, but I’ve had multiple high pressure leaks every year in the 6 years I’ve owned the place.

In 50 years of owning a home my parents have never had copper pipe spring pinprick size leaks. Now that plastic shit? I’ve owned my own place for 6 years, and I’ve had around 3-5 of these little high pressure leaks every year. Maybe copper isn’t the greatest, but it’s all that I can personally compare to.

My top kitchen reno (okay, more like whole house reno), providing I have the time, money, and wherewithal to complete it? Swapping out these horrible plastic water lines for some good old fashioned robust copper piping.

And tape measure!

So true! Not all cats like popcorn either:

Dehydrators might be a bit costly for some, but they quickly pay dividends if you used them often enough.

Pity? Nay, more for you!

It happens :)
