I don’t have mint mobile, but my brother-in-law does. He convinced me to switch when we did a speed test side by side and his came up faster. I don’t remember the exact speeds, but it could have also been because his phone is a couple years newer than mine. Either way, saving $400+ a year is worth it to me.

Not to mention if you switch from T-mobile to Mint Mobile, you can get the same service for less than half the price. In my case, my monthly would go from $60 to about $25, for a net savings of over $400 a year. That’s more than 3x the interest you can gain by putting $3000 into a T-money account.

He doubled down and claimed “I know high end equipment better than anyone and you’re just jealous.” LOL. He was convinced that he got a $5k projector for $500. There was no evidence that Google was being anything but forthright with your data either, until there was. Yes, avoiding google will no doubt give you some peace of mind, but in the end you’re still being tracked and profiled by any company you give your data to. And with GPS on all the time, that data can be mined…
