Exactly for this reason. So that the character that sounded and looked so cool (and that is played by an adored actress) won’t be useless anymore.

Over the weekend a story appeared on Medium that will make any Amazon user wince. According to customer Eric…
Are you a fervent acolyte of the on-demand video streaming revolution and yet still yearn for some of the old-school…
That would explain the heavy breathing. Old Darth had himself a case of white lung.
Just like David Prowse’s heart.
Fiberglass most likely.
Which is truly unfortunate, as Avengers: Age of Ultron absolutely needed an extended cut. That movie had clear pacing problems and it looked like bits and pieces of explanation between the action had been cut to fit a movie schedule. I know not everyone thought “The Rogue Cut” was an improvement over the original…
8 year olds are pretty articulate. That’s about the age where the switch away from toddler speak happens.
I’ve been trying to find a Rey action figure (preferably Black Series, 4 inch) to put next to my Black Series Finn. It’s pretty much impossible. She’s available on Amazon, but I’m not paying $45 for a $10 figure. Maybe $15... $20 on a good day.
He and John Boyega have fantastic chemistry together. My new favorite pair of space bros.
I, for one, would not have enjoyed TFA as much without our man Poe. Not only was he fun and cool in his own right, he really made Finn feel welcomed in the Resistance and I think that translated into drawing us into their struggle.
Why in the fuck does Batman have a gun? I mean I guess I shouldn’t be surprised, considering how badly they fucked up the characterization of Superman, but giving a gun to Batman reaches all new levels of cluelessness.
We run servers for medical services. If the server crashes, people die. Same results here, and like anything, when human life is a factor, the testing is usually more rigorous. I for one am glad that we can take human error out of many equations with automated processes as in my job, most of the errors are human, not…
It’s called ‘safety-critical’ programming, and has been used in planes, missiles and spacecraft for decades.
Et. It gives me pause that some moron with a cell phone talking or texting could plow into me as I’m crossing an intersection (almost happened a month ago as I was walking with the light , some moron who wanted to make a left turn when she was supposed to yield nearly killed me. She was coming from the side I had…
You act as though you have never encountered safety critical software before. Have you ever flown on an a320, 777, 787, a380 etc.? All of these aircraft are 100% dependent on correct operation of their software in order to stay in the air.
I agree, we should take away airline pilots “auto-pilot” mode away too. Because computers.
Planes, trains, and spacecraft already drive themselves. They aren’t crashing and killing people due to buggy software. So I find your concerns a bit overblown.
I just want to point out that the Abstract says that the source DNA was from saliva. All of your different tissues may have the same DNA, but epigenetic differences between tissues are abundant.
So... I get that this might be an interesting thing to understand. But, I can’t agree that it’s a good idea to investigate this at this point in time. People are going to get too many stupid ideas...
