I think the spin-off is confirmed to be a mid-season thing. They’ll be sharing characters among the three shows, but the spin-off should be airing while Arrow and the Flash are off.

Worst case scenario is that Supergirl gets canceled quickly.

It’s a promo shot for a magazine. Gustin isn’t hiding his face because he’s the star of the show and it wouldn’t do well to hide the star of the show in every photo. He’s not REALLY trying to hide his identity, he spends the majority of every episode unmasked and it makes sense to show people that unmasked face.

I’m expecting more of a guest star thing for him. The teaser talked about Vandal Savage, and I think that makes more sense than “stealing” the Flash’s primary enemy. It’d be like if Joker was the villain in a movie starring a teamup of heroes and villains rather than appearing as Batman’s antagonist. Wait...

Superman doesn’t want to help Arrow because he’s killed people, and Superman doesn’t know about the Flash because the Flash is a Central City urban legend. And there have been SOME references in the Flash, so it is possible that Superman exists in the world and they were making sly references to a real person in their

Not really. There’s not much conflict from a friendly competition with no real stakes. It would make an amazing cold open that could pay off during the climax of the episode, but just adapting that and calling it a “story” wouldn’t work.

The characters on The Flash and Arrow were surprised by the very existence of superpowers

Why? We already have HEAVY hints for Green Lantern. I would go as far as saying that Green Lantern DEFINITELY exists in the world and we just haven’t seen him yet. This says that intelligent alien life exists in this world, at least some of whom look like humans and/or have abilities humans do not. Why couldn’t one of

Doesn’t matter. I’m calling this photo canon already. Supergirl and the Flash had an adventure in offscreensville at some point and we just didn’t get to see an episode devoted to it.

yeah

Tarkin WAS the brains of the Death Star and Vader WAS just muscle. Later movies gave us a better understanding of Vader’s character and personality and position within the Empire, but for the 1977 film alone, Tarkin is the brains and Vader is the muscle.

Wow. Crossbones looks amazing. I honestly didn’t see that coming.

This is great and this is how it should be. Cross-polination while still having dedicated shows centered on specific heroes/teams. With this spin-off, they’re opening the doors to touch even more characters and show us even more of these characters who otherwise would probably only be once-per-season guest stars.

Actually, I think even the “dental use” is negligible.

Public faucets being manufactured by private industry is not a bad thing. Why would you even think that? The reason why bottled water is bad is that they’re seriously negatively impacting the environment and these corporations are profiting from this destruction. It’s especially egregious in California where water is

The thing is:

Metahumans are largely not known about, but we already know that there are other human beings around with abilities. The trailer for the spin-off show tells us about Vandal Savage, for example, and one of the shows had a metahuman where they teased the fact that the person had an alibi the day the accelerator went off

They could kill Steve Rogers in one film and have him resurrected in later films, perhaps through the magic of the Infinity Stones? Or they could have him appear in flashbacks. Or anything.

Regarding the Batman/Superman rumor: why does Luthor actually need “muscle”? What is he doing where employing people to fight Superman for him seems like a good idea to him? Didn’t he see what happened last time two people who were that powerful had a fight to the death? And if Luthor is interested in taking down

The Flash started before the movie stuff was happening. Same thing happened with Smallville and Superman Returns. And look at Arrow’s use of the Suicide Squad. They’ve already said that because of the movie, they’ve been forced to hold back on Suicide Squad action.
