Oh definitely, he’s got the moves that could make for a well-rounded character that would probably be pretty fun. It just wouldn’t be very distinct. His play would probably feel like some strange combination of existing characters. Like you said, he could almost be a melee-based Mega Man semi-clone. The uniqueness of

Ok, for example, I’ve heard of Sin and Punishment. Exclusively from trophies in Smash Bros. However, I know nothing about it. Most people have never heard of it. Probably because it never even came out in the US when it was first released in Japan. That’s what I was getting at. Some of those titles are so obscure that

How about just Lucina in mask? Pichu as Pikachu? Dry Bowser? There are TONS of ideas they can do for character “costumes”. I’m honestly surprised that they didn’t release DLC like that before announcing full characters.

Sakurai has literally no actual power over Smash Bros. He doesn’t work for Nintendo or even HAL Laboratory anymore and neither were even the developer here. Namco did it this time for Nintendo, and Namco just brought Sakurai in for the development. He doesn’t own Smash Bros and he only has as much power as the bosses

He probably is, with them working on it in the background. They would want to time the release of that DLC closer to the launch of the new game probably though.

Superman needs beard/stubble more often.

dude the moveset outlined in the video is literally the same as his melee moveset

Forget the fact that he’s never appeared on a Nintendo platform... How could the Prince even be playable?

No one knows who like any of those characters are but giant nerds. I don’t even know anything about like half of those.

Umm, actually, ドラゴンボール (doragon bōru) debuted in and was originally serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump, a weekly manga anthology. The manga series that was released as 519 chapters spread over 42 tankōban was just a collection of these serialized comics published by a company called Shueisha.

Where do the DK characters fall then? Rare created characters like Diddy and Dixie Kong and both have appeared in non-Rare games since then. Do you think they made a special agreement JUST for those characters? Why not Conker too, since he debuted in Diddy Kong Racing?

I feel like Shovel Knight would be cool to see, but he’d probably end up not having a particularly distinct playing style. When you have a game with over 50 characters already and looking to add more, it’s better to aim for the most distinct options.

The only way I can see this as being worthwhile is if it also affects item distribution such that it’s possible to be in first place for more than a few seconds. If they made it more about driving skill and less about giving overpowered items to slower racers, Mario Kart could enter a new era of greatness. See, Mario

Pacman, Donkey Kong, and Mega Man are/were all multi-platform games. And it certainly didn’t stop non-exclusivity from them using Snake in Brawl... and the Metal Gear Solid games are more known for PlayStation exclusivity than their multi-platform origins in the days of the NES (or even the ports that came to

This is probably as close as you’ll ever get to that.

Neither of them are good dads. They both literally beat the crap out of their kids.

Paper Mario would be a unique character that plays nothing like Mario, Luigi, or Dr. Mario. If we consider the goal of adding new fighters to be the addition of distinct and new attacks and strategies, then Paper Mario is about as good as you’re going to get. Paper Mario can draw from all of the Super Mario RPG worlds

Pretty much anyone that says anything other than simple Vaseline or basic petroleum-jelly-based balms (like regular Chap Stick brand) is wrong and knows nothing about taking care of their lips. Yes, even Burt's Bee's Wax isn't ideal. Flavors are nice, but if they come with bad things like peppermint, alcohols,

You have no experience with electronic drum sets if you think the plastic drum controller is anywhere near on par with any of them. I can understand not caring enough to want to pay more for the better experience, but it is a better experience to use an electronic drum set than the default controller. Even the ION,

Ok, yeah, but these are third party devices. And there are other third party devices which allow for cross-platform compatibility. I'm not saying that I think they will do it (they probably won't), but it is POSSIBLE. Far more possible than being able to move DLC to another platform at the very least.
