The violence is so blatant, over the top and choreographed that I don’t find it all that upsetting.  Especially when I compare it to the real world.

What’s your point? It was trying to and successfully escaping for 24 hours before they killed it. So your point about it being angry for 10 minutes is more or less moot. They should have tranqed it.

You didn’t give any reasons why the facility should not have been qualified and capable of handling such a situation with said tranquilizer.  

It’s a fair point. They uploaded Jake’s mind in real-time to a Na’vi body in the first one with no problems. And that wasn’t a copy, it was Jake.

It’s not racism nor cultural myopia, it’s just pretty normal brain wiring stuff. With names that sound familiar you’re just connecting a face to a name you already know how to spell and can tie back to other people you’ve known with the same name, which creates a foundation for memory.
