They didn't say it was marketable because it was a black narrative. They said black narratives are marketable, just like narratives by everybody else. They are not unmarketable as people seem to think.

Atlus is too scared to even give us a straight FeMC again.
Godwin's law. Somehow not thinking people should chop off parts of other people's bodies is just like being a nazi. Amazing.
It’s a penis. Genitalia. Most of us don’t get parts of our vulva or clitoris removed for Cosmetic Reasons.
The only way you had an advantage in hygiene is if your friends didn’t wash themselves.
Oh, right. Foreskins grow back, don't they?
Idk, chopping off part of a child without anesthesia is pretty bad.
It affects him. You know he matters, too... right?
Some do, just like with any other surgery. Except this one is completely unnecessary.
Yeah, it’s built upon a throne of abstinence and purity and an attempt to control male sexuality. The whole reason circumcision is popular today is because it was said to keep boys from masturbating. There are no benefits to it that are not solved by just having proper hygiene, washing yourself like every woman does,…
I've heard people say they wish it wasn't done to them.
Does that go for all cosmetic surgeries on children? Is it a parent's choice to circumcise if the child is female?
If those people wanted to get to their destinations faster, they’d just walk up the free side of the escalator. They don't, though, so they’re clearly fine with waiting.
Because of embargoes, waiting for someone else to review it often means missing out on preorder bonuses that you can never get again. Let’s not pretend the industry doesn’t try their hardest to penalize customers who wait for reviews. It's not that much to expect a game to be worth the money you paid for it.
Apparently, pause was disabled and getting an official while you're respawning is valid.
Apparently players are allowed to get an official while they're respawning.
So it’s cool that publishers deliberately deincentivize waiting for reviews?
Really? I see a bunch of people saying $60 is change and if you don’t like it, you shouldn’t have bought it or should have played it before buying it (presumably by using psychic powers to figure out that you wouldn’t like it).
How am I supposed to preplay a game when the industry is deliberately avoiding demos?
If the game sucks ass and you don’t play it for 20 hours because of that, it doesn’t matter if it’s $3 an hour. Imagine rating the value of movies solely based on the duration of “entertainment” and not how actually enjoyable it was.
