They have an enterprise solution, units are over twice the price and come with management/deployment software, but you can’t install any consumer software on them. So if I wanted to push out a regular piece of VR software off the Oculus store to all our headsets, like one of those silly conferencing apps, you CAN’T.

I literally don’t understand what anti-maskers in Ontario believe they’re going to accomplish. They are almost all people who voted for Doug Ford. Doug Ford is the hardest right Conservative elected to Ontario in a long time, but after gutting funding for elderly care, hospitals, schools, and environmental programs,

I’m using my minimal amount of real life enterprise purchasing clout to reach out to FB on how to properly handle this for units that “won’t be used by just one person.” (which obviously can’t be a thing right now). I want to know if they recommend creating a few dozen “Business Person” FB accounts and whether those

With the losses on such a small ESC, probably not. I’d bet it’s only 75-80% efficient, so maybe more like 2.5hp. Also the ESC sometimes overheats with that much current, so I need to build a better cooling solution first. Or get a higher voltage pack so I can lower the current. Electric skateboards are money pits.

That movie is easily top 4 animated Batman movies. AKA top 4 Batman movies.

Bruh, you can come to my parties.

Yeah, but that requires a $1000 headset + a $1500 computer, versus just a $300 headset which is effectively just as good. I’d rather just create a fake FB account for the Q2.

Vive is going to make an attempt at a standalone unit, but the inside out tracking on the Cosmos SUUUUUUUCKS. And the controllers are just poor knockoffs of the Oculus controllers. So my hopes for that are pretty low.

I would love to do a bench dyno test, I know they make those for RC cars (same motor). The numbers are based on the rated output for the battery pack & motor: 29.6V x 80A = 2.4KW, or 3.2HP. It CAN put out that much power because the motor can take it and my ESC is set to 80A max, which the battery pack can sustain, but

I would describe it as powerful but adequate. It will easily hit 35km/hr which is plenty fast for me, and can scoot above that to get out of the way of traffic. I’ve only had one fall, which was on purpose; the brakes stopped working right near the top of a big hill, so I jumped off and slid a good 10ft before things

At full throttle it can peak at 2.4KW, but the torque is low and the gear reduction is about 2:1. The fastest I’ve ever been brave enough to go is 39km/hr (same-ish top speed as the Changli) but that was not full throttle. The 100mm skateboard wheels keep the top speed low, so at the same RPM, on Changli size wheels

I have an electric skateboard with 3.2HP. 6HP or more is common on the higher end models. I don’t understand how this can even move out of its own way. Can it go up hills?

His disregard for climate science is also a attack on human life, as are his policies on healthcare, immigration, and policing. Maybe when his polices are taken in aggregate, an argument could be made that he wilfully endangered the American people.

Because they’re so insecure about their sexuality that a single gay person could “turn” them gay. So you know what’s really going on: he’s super closeted.

Points of view can be wrong and those should be called out and discouraged. Thinking that out gay people will turn you gay is no different than believing the Earth is flat. Believing racism doesn't exist is like believing climate change isn't real. The only thing people are being force fed is facts they don't like.

I’d rather seem him impose term limits. It’s more useful in the long run.

This pandemic has taught us that basically 100% of people are THAT guy. “I don’t need to stay in my house, or keep my distance, or wear a mask. I’m clearly fine.”

That’s also a great reason to never own one. The cost of parts which will fail is hilarious.

My own family and others had VWs and Audis from that era, including the All-Road. I will never own a VAG product after that.
