I'm fairly confident Dinklage's VO was not intended to be place-holder. After it became apparent the VO needed to be redone, Bungie (brilliantly) turned lemons into lemonade by acknowledging the blunder AND financing the cost of bringing in an A-list actor to rerecord his lines.

I regularly us film and video game soundtracks to help me drown out the background noise of my coworkers. Some of my favorites albums are the Social Network, Prometheus, Dredd and Oblivion.
