@boognish: Some guy in Washington made a similar 2.4L V8 based off of a Hayabusa engine, which he already put in his Caterham, and someone else put on in an Atom: [www.h1v8.com]

My Hummer is still hungry.

The way I see it, the added length over a 'normal' Mini just makes mating a high-output engine of your choice to the rear axle an easier task.

It's so red.

sssssssssssssssssssssssssssswe...

What is that black hatch that flies past at 1:40 from the end?

Flat black looks bad if the following criteria are not met:

First hoons of the seventh continent?

I'd drive it.

Blue 1977 Chevy G10 van, hehe.

Meh, the front end's shaper, more angular line don't really match the rear-end's smoother, more bulbous shape.

WTF Ford. Just go ahead and fire EVERY ONE of your designers for North America, clone your Euro teams, and have the clones work here. Well, you can keep the team that designed the GT and MAYBE the new Mustang if you beg hard enough. Oh wait, nevermind....the latter has a live axle, so scratch that part. Thanks.

@Dr.Danger: Yeah, I thought the same thing....Peugeot-style sweeping headlights are getting copied left and right.

Is that a Crown Vic/Grand Marquis I spy on the left?

Do want.

Air dam is VERY similar to the 2004 Audi S4's, so I was sure this would be an Audi or VW, but haven't been able to find a matching picture.

I had a subscription to PM for a while, but dropped it as soon as I 'discovered' Popular Science. They actually explain technologies that are feasible/current, as opposed to unspecifically describing some new thing that looks great on paper. And I could do without a home improvement article every month on how to do

@TechnoDestructo: No offense, but I'm surprised that people were fooled by that. :o
