@fjork_duf: I couldn't agree more. For example: My friend, after recently purchasing a convertible (ugh) 2004 M3, took me for a ride with the top down. When he got on the I-85 on ramp, I figured, based on my past experience with convertibles, that our normal-voice-level conversation would be promptly rendered

Should have read your tallest man link, Jalopnik....as of 2008, the tallest is this guy :P

Ooh, I'm honored.

Other than that, the overall design looks wonderful....if the center of gravity isn't as high looks now, it only makes sense to swap the racing CTS-V's with these.

I agree with the people saying that it's too tall. The gap between the front wheel arch and the hoodline needs to be cut in half (or more :D), as does the gap between the real wheel arch and the rear window. So basically, lower the whole stance of the car, while tilting the back end down so it's not so....colossal.

@smokyburnout: Took five minutes for the heck of it before going to bed:

Who would want to drive a shiny baleen whale?

I just noticed something...that evilgrin-ish swoop of bodwork connecting the headlights mimics the Mazda logo's V-shaped crossmember.

Every pair of pants in my entire wardrobe? Soiled.

Too much wedge and over-complicated features, like the headlights....it's ok, but I think it could be much-improved.

@yellofury: Disconcerting? How about....lovingly familiar? :D

@Shapeshifter: Looks straight in all directions to me.

Oh, and my friend and I took his recently-purchased '04 M3 out in the wee hours of the morning on I-85 north from Atlanta towards to South Carolina. High beams and flashers on, he of course took the inaugural hit of the limiter, but he then let me do so as well. :)

In my four years of driving (just turned 20), I've yet to even get pulled over, much less given a ticket.

@j6r: Oh, should have refreshed sooner.

Please tell me all four are restored and sitting in a museums or personal collections somewhere.

Yeah, needs more power and no rear doors. Or even a backseat....my RX-7 is fine without it.

I like to hope that the above racing vehicle will be homogenated, and that there will be a production version of that exact car, sans racing wing, higher ground clearence, etc.
