@Euromobile: I wonder as well....the previously most-commented since I've been around (about a month, hehe) was the "What do you drive on your last drive?" thread, at 170.

@Adamskiy: Zonda R, I mean. :)
@Novaload: In that second video, that Zonda driver has balls the size of Antartica. I would be scared giving ANY gas through a turn with that power, much less intentionally powersliding it on a public road. :o
@yadatothethirdpower: Thermal. Take. People actually think otherwise? (read: I'm so stupid that I pronounce it in such a simple manner?)
@Garebear: With their new coupe, maybe it should be :)
@Hyman Decent: They offered my brother a job after a couple interviews, and he says that it's pronounced "Hun-day", very similar to the first day of the week. Up until he told me this, I had always thought it was three syllables: "Hi-un-day".
@eltonito: I live in the northern suburbs of Atlanta, and I'd have to agree, with the exceptions of a few select places.....Augusta, for example, is really a really nice place due to the outdoor life (Strom Thurmond Lake + Savannah River + recreation) and history.
@jghitzert: American dictionaries list both pronunciations of forte.
Bugatti: Boo-gah-tee, Boo-gaa-tee, Buh-gah-tee, Buh-gaa-tee?
@6-3-2: Well yeah, there are exceptions, but as a basic rule of thumb, there are not silent letters. Besides, one could make the case that "Beethoven" would be pronounced differently from "Beetoven"....like in English, pronouncing "when" in a minutely different manner than "wen".
That's how we do down hurr.
I think I'm in love.
As far as Porsche, Bilstein, Audi, etc. go....the following 'rules' are basically always true in German:
I propose they just make a law that any consumer car costing over $100k USD / 50k quid / 70k Euro / etc. is not subject to emissions standards, or at least to as severe an extent.
YouTube is down, can't watch the video O NOEZ
I guess those German Shepards that Murilee heard barking weren't his neighbor's...
@al_beaton: Heh, their spectator stands are longer than on most tracks I've seen in the US.
There better not be any "No"s when I click "View Current Results", or I'll be disappointed in humanity.
@rgseidl: All of your links are to the same Honda Cog commercial, hehe.
@Rust-MyEnemy: ..., or upon you I shall set the dogs. =)
