Every time a story like this “crops” up I have to take the opportunity and sound like a Peta Whacko (though I am in reality an ex-beef eater that places NO judgement on those that do eat meat).

Well, they don’t respond to external stimulai either. We’d still have to overhaul the basic criteria for life a lot if we were to include viruses. Nothing wrong with keeping them in their own category; they’re biologic dwarf planets.

What is this drinkable sorcery and why haven’t I ever had any? And why the strange name? I must try some... I just hope it doesn’t blind me... or worse!

Alright, so now the press works better than hand methods, but how does it compare to other tools?

Why are A and B not on a row of 2 trees?

Yeah, no. Sure, the person will “get over it” in the sense that they won’t be angry or insulted forever. But memories are formed when you make an impression on someone. If you abruptly say “nice talking to you”, spin on your heel and walk away, you sure as hell are making an impression, and not a good one.

I went back to gmail today. I need my Starred emails. Until Inbox brings in my starred emails, I can’t use it.

Go Hawkeyes, meet pint glass. She’s a versatile lady who can hold all kinds of beer, show off those sexy legs and healthy color all while keeping the flavor fresh and un-can-like.

What an absurdly condescending thing to say. I’m interested in the article but have little to no science background. I didn’t immediately realize that the animation you entered was the missing animation from the article. That makes me not have “some semblance of general intelligence”?

Those aren’t so accurate, but agreed, if you try to keep things consistent at least you can figure out your trend. Most accurate are a DEXA, maybe a well-done calipers measurement, that sort of thing.

Killing explorer.exe from Task Manager usually clears that right up (as long as you remember to re-run explorer.exe).

I want to thank you for this. A lot of info on the web that isn’t very helpful for this. It worked perfectly for me with my 1TB to a Samsung 850 evo 250 GB —THE 2nd time I did it. The first time, I failed to check the box in EaseUS that said “shut down when complete” and the resulting clone did not boot. I did it

No, it doesn't—it only assumes your OS and programs are less than the size of the SSD. Your documents, music, movies, and other files don't need to fit on the SSD because they go onto a traditional HDD. That's the entire point of the article.

This worked beautifully for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just followed it exactly and holy moly, I feel the intense speed difference!!!! Thank you so much lifehacker!!!
