Canned, low sodium beans. Dried beans take forever to make properly and you run the risk of overcooking them. This helps remove some chance for error and makes things much faster (especially things like hummus)

For smoothies, ice cream/cereal topping, or even just as a snack by themselves. Most any grocery store will have all sorts of flash-frozen fruit.

Reminds me of Ladder Ball. Very fun backyard/tailgating game which you can also build (in just minutes) with just two 10 foot sections of 3/4" PVC pipe. Y'also need 6 golf balls and some nylon string. Just built my own last month.
