Interesting conundrum - is there a V8 stick one left, or have they all been excessively modded (best case) or wrapped around trees (worst case.)

I agree, but I did buy a used 2018 Model 3 Long Range AWD (not from Hertz, though - I think I’d walk before renting from them...).

And two weeks later, find yourself being pulled over, at gun point, for reported vehicle theft...and that it’s a vehicle associated with Musk just makes it a double ‘ah, hell naw’!

Eew.  Then I’d have to make a Hertz rental and own a Tesla.  That’s a dookie double dose.

I will lump this car in with used Chargers, Challengers, Camaros, and Mustangs:  There’s a high probability it was beaten like a rented mule. ND.

I wouldn’t necessarily say that’s a bad thing. This X-plus (GM actually re-classified it as a K-body) chassis was used for the Seville and the Pontiac Phoenix 4-doors of that era. it also was essentially the platform used for the second-gen Camaro and Firebird.

LeMans, well shit. Although I’ve seen it a million times, it has been a while.

Funny you mention that, my first thought was, that’s just a Caprice. It also gives me minor flashbacks to Buford T. Justice’s Bonneville.

This is arguably GM’s best ‘70s car, period.

Tesla pricing and incentives are about as manic-depressive as Elon Musk. Steering clear of that company and that man are clearly the wisest thing to do.

And this is the guy that has the president’s ear (and ballsack) when it comes to rewriting the federal budget?

That’s another way to look at it, but I think the person thinking along these lines will be hard to find. And the color combo on this one narrows the field even more.

It’s that lens that bothers me as well. That gives me “screw this I surrender” vibes that make me wonder what else is hiding in those big red flanks.

Not really sure about the color. It doesn’t look bad, but it’s also a sports car color on a large luxury sedan. If it was a claret or darker, I might be enthusiastic.

I have one of these, albeit it dark green. It is hilarious, a stately home that thinks it is a racehorse. I have it serviced once a year at a fixed cost of £ 480. For the naysayers, try before you buy, yes it is a stupid indulgence the tyres are silly ‘spensive and it makes sense for stupid reasons. The service

Ah, Arnage. Had to be the coolest name in Bentley lineup. It just sounds so decadent and one just knows the owner has a separate sex dungeon next to wine cellar adjacent to vintage drugs section in his/her every castle. Company car for dr Lecter if you will. Nice sort version.

Very cool, rare car. Lots of maintenance and tasteful upgrades. So far, so good. The “cracks and bubbles” in the paint- with no closeup photos, or undercarriage shot are a red flag. 51-49 ND, if a PDI checks out clean, then it’s NP. No one is buying this thinking it’s a daily, I’ve had enough old cars to know that

um... this speaks volumes.

Many time the cars are stolen, or you know, they’re running because they have a reason to not be so easily caught as chilling at the registered address for the ride. Wasn’t there a story on here of how 20% of cars are unregistered and uninsured or something like that?

ND props on take care of the vehicle but it is very ordinary for 17k
