The falling apart shed in the yard along with all of the other crap, the messy jerry rigged looking wiring under the hood, the use of the old cast iron manifolds versus steel headers and the stupid angry eyes tells me this thing was slapped together over a drunken weekend. I wouldn’t trust this thing to make it back

Did you miss that the law bans them from doing that prior to ruling it out (like explicitly). It's a stupid law; but definitely still a law that could bight police in the ass if they don’t abide by it.

Not a popular thought, but I’m glad they took the time to get it right. This family deserves justice for their loss.

The Spartan 2s were spawned through the success of the spartan 1 program, though through unethical means of kidnapping children and replacing them with their clones, that died shortly after. From there, through augmentations, the children basically became super humans that could control the Mjolnir armor. Now

Rob is correct. I live in San Diego, and this is 100% a dealer ad. Miramar Rd is strictly commerical/industrial. It’s disingenuous, and would definitely make me think twice about dealing with them.

Speaking from experience dealing with these types of sellers, there’s no chance this is anything other than a terrible boat anchor of a V8 with like 300k miles on it he found in a junkyard.

Rust. Definitely rust. Probably a hole.

It is strange. Even if it was some gutless late 70's/80's V8, you’d think they would say “Chevy V8" without much detail. Maybe you get some sucker who thinks that automatically means it generates good power.

I WANT this car to be worth $5900. My heart says “it could be a nicely packaged crate motor under that hood”. But my brain says “it’s some shitty iron block v8 that barely made 145hp when it was new in 1978, just like every other shittily written craigslist ad out there”

As usual, screw the seller with their list of 500 cars to try and snag any search.

Yup. A lot of times it happens when you are doing something different than your routine. Suppose everyday your wife drives the baby to the sitter. One day your wife asks you to take the baby. It’s easy for you to autopilot straight to the office and forget about the baby in the back.

These kinds of stories always hit so hard. Kids and animals suffering needlessly is heartbreaking to a whole different level. They’re innocent, and completely unable to fend for themselves. They don’t even necessarily know what’s happening to them. They’re relying on you - the parent or owner to look after them.

Now playing

You are not thinking of the question broadly enough

Combining the possible deception and the registration that expired in October pushed me into ND land from what initially looked like a decent price.

I don’t know where this lands on the Audi maintenance nightmare continuum,”

It’s a really nice car.

Just out of warranty, should go really well for someone.

This is a car you lease, not one you should buy. Pay for the depreciation and don’t buy the remainder. Then lease the high-maintenance replacement. Lather, rinse and repeat to prevent long-term maintenance bills that’ll sink you deep upside-down in cars like this Teutonic rocket.

Seems....fair?

No, the article was shot in one long continuous take!
