I drove a ton of these things in period (college motor pool had a dozen of them) - the rear legroom is hilariously bad for the size of the car. Ford Panthers other than the long-wheelbase taxis and Lincolns are just as bad. 

Overpriced - especially for a mid-80s car with more than 145K miles on the clock.

sub-$5K all day this is NP.  Good car - but not $8500 good.
