I was totally fine with the Glennon signing, under the rationalization that “well at least now you’re not going to blow a ton of your draft capital on a reach pick who will probably suck.”

Bad officiating aside, after watching the Premier League almost exclusively for a year seeing these two very good teams play was almost like watching an entirely different sport.
FA Cup winner has to swallow the poison pill that is the Europa League, so I’d honestly rather see them knocked out of Europe entirely if they’re not going to get into the top 4.
I pretty much never pre-order but I did for this game. Even if it’s not as great as the original games, we only get a few chances to take a trip into the Mass Effect universe and I’m looking forward to getting back into it.
On the one hand it’s nice to have a trial/early access to play around with. On the other hand, you’re pretty much just stuck to the prologue, which is almost always the worst part of any game. I’m struggling to think of a prologue I actually enjoyed. Bioware especially seems to always put way too much stuff before…
Thank you, this is the explainer I was hoping for!
I know they won’t but could they please get rid of the awful double dogleg that ruined the old Atlanta the last time they repaved it?
Damn. Beasley has actually really done well this year (especially considering the Bucks picked him up for a sack of nothing) and he was gonna get some starters minutes with Jabari out. If this is serious this is a shame for Beasley, who was probably gonna make some money this offseason, and for everyone who was…
There’s an interview out where Jason Momoa says when he was asked to read for a part in the DC universe (before any cast/plot had been revealed) he had already assumed he was coming in to read for Lobo.
Absolutely agree. Except for Anders. I hated dragging him around through all of DA2 just because he was the only healer available.
Original or Extended Cut? I never finally finished ME3 until after the extended cut came out, so that was my only experience with it, and I thought it worked really well. I can definitely see how the original ending was not thorough enough.
Remember like 3 weeks ago when we were all laughing about how ridiculous the idea that Austin Rivers would be enough to get old-ass Carmelo in a deal? Ahh, good times.
What fascinates me about the Magic is that they’re constantly switching focus from going young to needing veteran leadership to youth over and over - all while having the exact same GM through all these shifts. Usually you only see this kind of disjointedness from a front office where everyone is getting fired…
Chicago, Seattle & Portland would good be destinations too. Denver & Minneapolis, at least for now.
A trade might make sense if the Cavs could stick the Knicks with either of the JR Smith/Shumpert poison pills, though doing that makes the trade pretty awful for the Knicks, no matter how much they like Love.
Question if anyone is familiar with this:

Kinda figured there had to be stuff like this around when we saw how quickly and absolutely Houston back-peddled when they were rumored to be interested in Briles. So I guess the apology tour is over now, huh?
It’s really something when saying something unquestionably factual is seen as a singular act of courage.
Similarly, the deal falling apart because the Clippers refused to part with Rivers would be very Clipper-y.
I was kinda hoping for a proper sequel to Origins (a game I really enjoyed despite it being pretty much an Arkham City clone). Though I’m willing to admit I may be the only person hoping for that.
