Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. More of the same in the DS genre is never a bad thing in my opinion.

Needs more pointies and jaggies.

Polish magazine giving a Polish-made game a high score isn't something I will trust 100% just yet.

I'm hoping Lords of the Fallen transcends the Souls series influence to just being a good thing on its own merit.

I would love to see a game poke fun at this. Like if your character falls too far you break his femur and have to complete 6 months of rehab before you can go back to the game and even then you still can't ever run as fast or as far unless you die and respawn.

So did the title. So I fixed it.

We should absolutely expect games to work they way they're intended to on day one. That being said however, it's worth giving a shout out to those who fix their products when when they don't work that way, because some devs don't even bother doing that.

Keep the wound fresh. The pain shouldn't go away. Never forget. Never forgive.

Prepare to Fry edition?

I wonder if those are inspired by EpicNameBro's mascot?

This is a perfect coincidence, as we're down to our last set of rechargeable AAs. We've used primarily Energizer, so I'm interested to hear about other brands. Does anyone else have experience for comparison (how long does a charge last, how long does the battery last, etc)?

This is what we use currently: http://www.am

I used to be a huge fan of Eneloops, but I've exclusively used AmazonBasics Rechargeables for several years now. Personally, I can't tell a difference in performance, and I can buy 16 AAs for roughly the same price as 8 Eneloop AAs - http://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-P…

I've always loved Nobuo Uematsu. I did this 5 years ago... my raps have gotten a lot better since.

Sounds good ! Reminds me of Team Teamwork's Vinyl Fantasy 7

Nintendo Power was pretty damn awesome back in the day. I remember when Mega Man 2 came out. They had a complete walk through for the first 8 stages. They REALLY got into the games they talked about. You seriously don't see that in game magazines or reviews anymore.

You aren't kidding with how influential that cover was. When I first got my Nintendo, my parents got me a nice subscription to Nintendo Power (the one that came with the gold Team Power Pin, which I still use today) and this was the first issue. From that moment on, there was nothing on Earth that was going to stop me
